Green Flag Award LogoWe have over 200 green spaces in the London Borough of Barnet, covering 848 hectares.  This includes 16 Premier Parks.

Seven of these have achieved a Green Flag Award for 2008-2009.

There are many opportunities to take part in a range of activities in the parks and open spaces in the borough. Whether you want to take in the fresh air of the countryside or enjoy a restful afternoon in the park, we hope you enjoy your visit.

There are also a variety of community events including festivals, funfairs and circuses held in parks every year.

A Barnet park wins funding from Mayor of London's Priority Parks Scheme

Dollis Valley Green Walk, Barnet, is among the top-ten winning parks to receive a £400,000 makeover following a public vote.

Friends of Parks Scheme

We encourage residents to put forward suggestions for the management and maintenance of their local park or open space.
