'When Love Takes Over', a collaboration between French DJ David Guetta and former Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland, has climbed to the top of the UK singles chart.

It becomes the first number one for Guetta, while Rowland previously reached the top with Destiny's Child singles 'Independent Women Part 1' and 'Survivor'.

Last week's number one, 'Mama Do' by Pixie Lott, slips to two, while Black Eyed Peas' 'Boom Boom Pow' falls to three.

Meanwhile, Take That notch up their 18th top ten hit after jumping from 48 to nine with 'Said It All'.

Outside of the top ten, Jordin Sparks climbs from 21 to eleven with 'Battlefield', while Freemasons and Sophie Ellis-Bextor debut at 15 with 'Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer)'.
