Punk'd (puhn-gkd) slang: To be made a fool of as the target of an extravagantly arranged prank, as in "You just got punk'd!"

Being punk'd is what happens when Punk'd creator and master prankster Ashton Kutcher stages an elaborate practical joke to trick one of today's biggest stars in an effort to bring them back down to earth. In a nutshell: Punk'd makes superstars suffer for your viewing pleasure.

Who can forget when Ashton tricked Justin Timberlake into believing that the government was seizing everything that JT owned? Or when Halle Berry was denied entrance into her own movie premiere? Or what about the time Lindsay Lohan thought she had made her limo driver miss the birth of his first child?

To pull off such elaborate pranks, Ashton has used a series of sidekicks during the show's eight seasons on MTV, including Dax Shepard, Julia Lea Wolov, Ryan Pinkston and B.J. Novak, who plays Ryan Howard on The Office. Sometimes Ashton even enlists celebrities to help punk other celebrities, like when Jesse McCartney tricked Akon or when Bow Wow set up Omarion. Even Punk'd co-creator Jason Goldberg was once tricked by Ashton and Britney Spears.

In fact, no celebrity is safe from being punk'd. Since 2003, Punk'd has tricked stars such as Tyra Banks, Beyoncé, Nick Carter, Simon Cowell, Hilary Duff, Katie Holmes, Nick Lachey, Eva Longoria, Shaquille O'Neal, Nicole Richie, T.I. and Pete Wentz.

Ashton even pranked Punk'd fans by announcing that the second season of the show would be the last, when in fact he knew Punk'd would be back for season 3. Punk'd fans have since enjoyed six more seasons of ridiculously ruthless jokes.

But this time it's no joke. This will be the last season of Punk'd. And Ashton is going to pull off some of the most off-the-hook stunts ever! Watch the final episodes to see what pranks Ashton unleashes on stars like Evangeline Lilly, Zac Efron, Hilary Swank, Nelly Furtado, Kelis, Hayden Panettiere and Magic Johnson.

For the series finale, Ashton will host a special Punk'd Awards Show, honoring the best pranks from the show's eight seasons.

But it's certainly not the last we'll see of Ashton's crazy antics. Since becoming the mastermind behind Punk'd, Ashton has also created Beauty and the Geek, The Real Wedding Crashers and Adventures in Hollyhood, an MTV reality show featuring Three 6 Mafia.

Have no fear, though, because Punk'd ain't over yet. You can watch new and old episodes of Punk'd here on MTV.com.
