NERT is a free training program for individuals, neighborhood groups and community-based organizations in San Francisco. Through this program, individuals will learn the basics of personal preparedness and prevention. The training also includes hands-on disaster skills that will help individuals respond to a personal emergency as well as act as members of a neighborhood response team. We are a group of neighbors affiliated with the Pacific Heights Residents Association. We are interested in coordinating with local block captains to share information on a neighborhood level and work together to ensure our neighborhood is safe in the event of an emergency or a disaster. We have established a partnership with SAFE and NERT, and work with faith based organizations, public and private schools and other community groups to better serve our neighborhood. If you would like to be a part of this group or would like to learn more about what we are doing, please contact Barbara Graham at 415-425-3104 or email@example.com.
