Final Fantasy VII downloaded 100,000 times in two weeks

Mirroring the success of Final Fantasy VII International overseas, the release of FFVII to the Playstation Network at the beginning of June has seen tremendous download growth in two weeks since its launch. The game has been downloaded over 100,000 times, making it the fastest-selling PS1 game on the Playstation Network thus far. The following press release outlines some of the other PS1 games Sony's planning to release over the rest of the year, including Wild Arms 2, Mobile Light Force and Spec Ops: Stealth Patrol, that will round out what will supposedly be dozens of releases before 2010. When FINAL FANTASY VII first launched more than a decade ago on PS one(r) console, it broke sales records and brought RPGs to a whole new audience, and now the epic game has become a blockbuster all over again via the PlayStation Network. In just two weeks, Final Fantasy VII has been downloaded over 100,000 times, making it the No. 1 downloaded game for the week ending 6/17 on PlayStationNetwork in North America.

I hear you.This game is so epic that this would be my fourth playthrough, along with chrono trigger.Imagine it with advent children's hd fmv's and remixed sountracks and effects.if it was announced i would'nt be able to sleep until it was out.

Speaking of FFVII and PS, anyone seen Advent Children on Bluray? That movie looks %&# awesome on it, definitely one of the best Bluray movies to show off to your friends.

BTW I did get this for my PSP, and I'm loving to adventure once more, and this time I can take the adventure with me anywhere to grind me some levels, Materia, or just spend time in the Gold Saucer.

yes, I bought Advent Children Complete last weekend, and it really is amazing.
buying this game for the PSP sounds like a really good idea. I might do that....
