A trial has begun in which former Hey Hey It's Saturday producer Gavin Disney is accused of sex offences going back more than 25 years.
Disney, 60, is facing 15 charges, including indecent assault and rape.
The allegations date back to the early 1980s and involve a male studio assistant who worked with Disney at the former Ballarat television station BTV6.
The alleged victim was 17 at the time the first incident is claimed to have taken place.
In its opening address to County Court in Ballarat, in central Victoria, the prosecution detailed examples where the accused allegedly groped the victim and forced himself on to him.
Defence lawyer Terry Forrest QC argued his client had never touched the man in a sexual way and the claims were made up.
The hearing continues.
