With the Club's inaugural Barclays Premier League campaign coming to an end at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, stokecityfc.com would like to remind supporters of plans for the 2009/10 pre-season campaign.

Tony Pulis' men return to training ahead of their second season in the top flight on Thursday 9th July and begin preparations just three days later by splitting up the first team squad and sending sides to both Newcastle Town and Nantwich Town (12th July).

The squad will then set off for a week long trip to Austria on Wednesday 15th, where they are scheduled to play two matches.

Following their return on the 22nd they will then head to Deepdale to take on Championship Play-Off Semi-Finalists Preston North End on Saturday 25th, with a 3pm kick off.

Fellow Championship side Nottingham Forest will then play host to the Potters on Wednesday 29th before we make the short journey back down the A50 to face Nigel Clough's Derby County at Pride Park on the 1st August.

City will hopefully wrap up their pre-season at the Britannia Stadium on Friday 7th August with opposition yet to be confirmed, before kicking off the league campaign on Saturday 15th August.
