Everybody's making trades to beat Kobe's Lakers

Even though the magic now has Vince Carter, and even though, Cleveland has Shaq, it still won't matter when they face Kobe and the Lakers. The Lakers are still going to beat them. The Lakers are going to kill the cavs in the pick and roll. (cuz neither shaq nor z is fast enough to keep up with Kobe in the pick n roll.) and the magic, i don't think it will work. VC, howard, lewis, nelson, mabe turkoglu if he won't opt out. They still can't beat the lakers.

Sure tha lakers will repeat

they didnt dodge the bullet

the reason y the celtics win 08 finals is bacause they average 30-40 free throws in the finals like in game 2 in 08 finals boston free throw 38 Lakers free throw 11

see the difference celtics won by 2 in dat game i think

and if the celtics won the east and face the lakers

lakers wil still be champion

08 finals bynum is out
ariza is not 100%
Gasol didnt play full season with the Lakers

so even if eltics win the east lakers will still be 09 champs

Cavs sucks when their losing people will say Lebron is the only one working there
when their winning Lebron has the best supporting cast in his 5 year career in cleveland

see?

LAKERS will Repeat!

To my opinion, Turkoglu was one of Magic's biggest impact in the final. If the magic let Turkoglu go,which is already, they will be in a big trouble.
Vince is goood but just if i have to choose,i would choose Turkoglu.

You know if thats true why were the Lakers a collective 4-0 against those two teams?

I guess every team that won a championship 'dodged a bullet.' You kids are fools.

Kobe hasn't surpassed Jordan in Obama's eyes

I mean, Kobe's terrific. Don't get me wrong," Obama said. "But I haven't seen anybody match up with Jordan yet."

this thread is so bogus, there hasn't been any contract-extensions, so why would other teams make trades to beat the softies when you do not know who's staying and who's going! -- it's going to come down to $$$$dollas & cents that determines what the LA roster will consist of!, they didn't look like solid champions in the finals, they dodged a bullet, CAVS OR CELTICS(at full-strength)would have won the Title if anyone of those 2 teams arrived in the finals to represent the East.....AGAIN!.

of course they are. the lakers are the defending champs. the top teams in the east are getting a lot better which sucks for the east seeds that would be like 5-8.

looks like the eastern conference is just gonna beat up on each other in next years playoffs. they are becoming soooo stacked.

herr blazers dont get mad cause the lakers won the championship and beat houston who beat the blazers. If you saw in the regular season the lakers beat cavs and celts even without bynum. Lakers sign ariza and odom!!!

spurs and cavs final...
just my opinion..

cavs beat celtics in east finals.
spurs beat lakers in west finals.
magic will be way less dominant. should have kept raefer alston.

Lee is 6'8, I doubt he can play center. Also Detroit has enough undersized Power Forwards which is why Detroit didn't look at Dejuan Blair much in the draft.

Lee isn't signing because he wants a ridiculous amount of money in a bad economy. Toronto has shown interest though.

Also the Pistons have 3 mil in cap which they plan on bringing Dice back with, if not it could be used for a center like Chris Andersen even though he will stay in Denver for sure.

VC is getting old and unable to bounce like when he was in his prime not to mention Shaq. Magic shld serious kept Hedo than trading for VC. Wad a waste

he could be the center that detroit needs to bring them over the edge... I don't know how much they have left or offer him or how much he's asking but seems like a good fit
