Cairon wins final housemate place

Cairon has secured his place in the Big Brother house after winning today's biscuit dunking task.

As reported earlier today, all houseguests were to be given one last opportunity to gain full housemate status before tomorrow night's public vote.

Following this afternoon's 'Biscuit Dunk Off' - where all non-housemates were required to dunk a biscuit into a cup of tea for as long as possible without it deforming - Cairon emerged as the winner with the longest time, becoming an official housemate.

The Floridian student managed to keep his milk chocolate digestive in one piece for 25.5 seconds.

Siavash came a close second with 25.1 seconds, Angel managed 21.1 seconds and Sophia took fourth spot with 16.7 seconds.

Commenting on his victory, Cairon said: "It's all in the biscuit. I used a digestive. I eat digestives all day."

Elsewhere in the dunk off chart, Beinazir finished with 11 seconds, Marcus was timed at 8.3 seconds while Sree only managed 7.8 seconds.

As a result, Siavash, Angel, Sophia, Beinazir, Marcus and Sree will face the public vote.

Davina McCall will present a special live edition direct from the house tomorrow night on Channel 4 at 10pm.
