Hewlett Packard to buy NUR Macroprinters for $117.5 million

NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - Hewlett Packard Co. Monday said it would buy NUR Macroprinters Ltd. for $117.5 million, $14.5 million of which will be held in an indemnity escrow account.
NUR is an Israeli manufacturer of digital inkjet printers.
Computer giant HP didn't say when the acquisition would close, but said that after the deal, NUR will become part of its large format printing business.
Shares of HP closed Friday at $51.76.
