It may only be days since Britain's Got Talent finished, but prepare yourself for the next reality TV juggernaut - Big Brother 10 begins tonight, and is slated to run for the next 13 weeks into early September.

After The Apprentice candidates tried their hands at selling products on a home shopping on a TV shopping channel last week, the five remaining candidates face probing interviews from Sir Alan Sugar's advisers.

With three candidates reportedly set to get fired this week, the pressure will be on. You can watch a trailer for the episode on the BBC website. There is also footage of James doing his best impression of an open-mouthed fish as he gets a grilling over his jargon-filled CV.

Last year's interviews gave us Lee McQueen's unforgettable "reverse pterodactyl" impression – you can get a reminder in the trailer below.

Last night, as quite a lot of the world slept, Jay Leno celebrated the end of his 17-year run as host of the Tonight Show. But how did his last show pan out? And what was his final word on his Late Night legacy?

Business as usual for Susan Boyle today: five national newspapers stuck her on their front pages, she has been in "floods of tears", is "ready to quit" (Daily Mirror), faces the axe (the Sun), and she has quit (Daily Star).

After the last week's baby products task on The Apprentice, the six remaining candidates have to flog goods live on air on a TV shopping channel.

Will they be able to cope with the pressure? We hear that Kate plays air guitar this week - you can see a glimpse on the preview on the BBC's Apprentice website.

If it ends up anything like the shopping channel task from the 2007 series, which featured unforgettable footage of Simon putting together a trampoline (see below), then we're in for a treat.

Tonight marks the night of the first of five live finals. Now being one of the top 40 talented acts in the whole country is no longer enough; they must battle to the death to prove they alone are Britain's talent, embodied.

The wait to see Susan Boyle compete again on Britain's Got Talent could soon be at an end as the auditions draw to a close this weekend.

Join Carrie Dunn for the last audition show which airs on Saturday on ITV1 at 8.20pm.

At the end of the 90-minute special, the final 40 acts out of the 200 the judges put through will be unveiled - Shaheen, Shaun Smith and Aidan Davis look like certainties to be among them, but who else will be in there? Will 2 Grand, Faces of Disco or even Dream Bears make it? Look at our gallery of the most memorable Britain's Got Talent contestants so far and let us know who you think could get through to the final 40.

And on Sunday from 8.30pm, join Anna Pickard for the first of five live semi-finals live.

It looks set to be a feast of Britain's Got Talent next week, as the semi-finals continue on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with the final following on Saturday 30. Look out for more coverage on Organ Grinder next week.
