   This figure wears shining armor with a lion motif, and a long blue cape. Long, golden blonde hair frames his handsome face, and he holds a large warhammer - the trademark weapon of the Knights of the Silver Hand.

Description
   Son of Terenas, King of Lordaeron, Prince Arthas was trained in all manners of weapons from a young age, by Muradin Bronzebeard. His brief affair with the sorceress Jaina Proudmoore ended when they both had to focus on their studies, and Arthas was made a Knight of the Silver Hand at the age of 19. Under the leadership of his mentor, Uther Lightbringer, Arthas rose through the ranks of the paladins. Now, Uther and Arthas have been ordered by the king to quell recent orc uprisings, but a greater danger looms ahead.

Combat
   Arthas engages foes in melee combat with his warhammer, though he can also bolster his forces by healing and inspiring his men.
   Aura of Courage (Su): Arthas is immune to fear (magical or otherwise). Each ally within 10 feet of him gains a +4 morale bonus on saving throws against fear effects. This ability functions while Arthas is concious, but not if he is unconcious or dead.
   Banishing Strike (Su): Arthas may declare a banishing strike against an undead or a demon with one normal melee attack. On a successful hit, the target must make a Will save (DC 24) or be banished instantly from the plane of Azeroth. Spell resistance does not function against a banishing strike. If the attack fails, the ability is still used up for that day.
   Code of Conduct: Arthas must be of good alignment and loses all class abilities if he ever willingly commits an evil act. Additionally, his code requires that he respect authority, act with honor (not lying, not cheating, not using poison, and so forth), help those in need (provided they do not use the help for evil ends), and punish those who harm or threaten innocents. If Arthas violates this code, he loses all class abilities and may not progress in levels as a paladin warrior until he atones for his violation. This atonement requires undertaking a quest (see geas/quest); if successful, the burden of his violation is removed as if the atonement spell were cast.
   Detect Outsiders (Sp): At will, Arthas can detect demonic creatures exactly as with the spell detect evil, except that it focuses upon the presence of demons and other outsiders.
   Detect Undead (Sp): At will, Arthas can detect undead, as the spell.
   Divine Health (Ex): Arthas is immune to all diseases, including supernatural and magical diseases (such as mummy rot and lycanthropy).
   Divine Grace (Su): Arthas gains a +5 bonus to all saving throws.
   Greater Turning (Su): 1/day, Arthas may perform a greater turning in place of a regular turning attempt. Arthas adds +9 to the turning check result, and turning damage is 2d8+14.
   Healing Touch (Ex): Arthas may prepare spells from the healing domain as divine spells and casts healing spells at +1 caster level.
   Lay on Hands (Su): Arthas can heal wounds (his own or those of others) by touch. Each day, he can heal 75 points of damage. Arthas may choose to divide his healing among multiple recipients, and he does not need to use it all at once. Using lay on hands is a standard action. Alternatively, Arthas can use any or all of this healing power to deal damage to undead or outsiders. Using lay on hands in this way provokes an attack of opportunity. Arthas decides how many of his daily allotment of points to use as damage after successfully touching the undead or outsider target.
   Remove Disease (Sp): Arthas can produce a remove disease effect, as the spell, once per day.
   Smite Undead and Outsiders (Su): Arthas may attempt to smite an undead or outsider 3/day with one normal melee attack. He adds +5 to his attack roll and deals 9 extra points of damage. If he accidently smites a creature that is not undead or an outsider, the smite has no effect, but the ability is still used up.
   Spells: As a 1st-level healer and a 9th-level paladin warrior.
   Typical Healer Divine Spells Prepared (3/2; save DC 12 + spell level): 0-create water, detect magic, read magic; 1st-remove fear, sanctuary.
   Typical Paladin Warrior Divine Spells Prepared (3/3/2/2; save DC 12 + spell level): 1st-bless weapon, divine favour, shield of faith; 2nd-delay poison, resist energy, shield other; 3rd-cure serious wounds, searing light; 4th-cure critical wounds, holy sword.
   Turn Undead and Outsiders (Su): Arthas has the power to turn or destroy undead and outsiders. He turns undead as a 9th-level PHB cleric, and may attempt to turn 12/day.
