"El made me as the introduction to Creation,
before the antecedant of all His works.
I have been at work since forever,
before the beginning of the world's beginning.
"I was born before the ocean of primordial
before the wells of Nothingness were sunk
that spewed forth the unrefined All;
He bore me before the high mountains
sank to their armpits in sea, before hills were even imagination,
when the Earth and its fields were things unborn,
before there was dirt or dust blown across it;
I was there when He fixed the sky above,
when He set the horizon as a keep
upon the farthest reach of the sea,
when He founded the clouds forever in the heavens,
when He pushed the underwater fountains
in their place at the ocean's depth,
when He spoke his teaching to the seas,
that their waters mustn't flood their limits,
when He brokered Earth's foundations into place.
I was the Creator's architect, by his side,
I was His pleasure every day of the Creation
while I dreamed up the days, the seasons and the years:
He happily made a great work of my play;
my exhuberant imagining of universe and world,
the last laugh of my joy that was Humanity.
