Slavery today
Two years ago there was much celebration of the bicentenary of Britain’s outlawing of the slave trade, but slavery persists. Guest speakers Michael Ellman, international human rights lawyer, and Rahila Gupta, author of Enslaved - The New British Slavery, will talk about those who are trapped in slavery today, in Britain and elsewhere, and how it can and must be challenged. All welcome.
