Overview

Fermentation BioTechnology (FBT) converts renewable, agricultural based commodities, residues and wastes to products of value to the American public and business using microbes or microbial processes.  This research team has a comprehensive research program that targets the major impediments of converting agricultural products to biofuels.  They are working closely to industry to improve upon these and translate them into commercial reality.  Learn more about FBT research projects here.
