Infiniti M45

Sharing the spotlight at the Infiniti stand was this all-new rear-wheel-drive sedan, the M45. Based on the Cedric/Gloria twins currently sold in Japan, the M45 will be priced in the low-$40,000 range, positioned between the flagship Q and the sporty G35 sedan. Utilizing the Q's 4.5-liter 340-horsepower V-8 and five-speed manumatic, the M45 should be a spirited performer capable of sub-six-second 0-to-60-mph acceleration. Tackling the curves and bumps are a four-wheel independent suspension, a front strut tower brace, four-wheel vented disc brakes, and 18-inch wheels shod with all-season Michelin tires. Rounding out the package are xenon headlights, vehicle dynamic control with traction control, six airbags, bird's eye maple trim, "Sojourner" leather seating surfaces, and a 240-watt Bose stereo with six-CD changer.
