We're down here in Anaheim for Blizzcon 2009, and just picked up our goody bag. As we did, we heard Samwise Didier ripping out some Level 80 Elite Tauren Chieftan practice inside the convention center, and man, will they be the perfect openner for Ozzy.
What's in the goody bag you ask? Well for one, no beta key. We do have a key for Grunty the Murloc marine, but the usual beta key is suspiciously absent. Here's a rundown of the items, and a gallery of the phat lootz:
* Raynor NOOBZ figure: This guy is six inches tall, much larger than I expected, and comes with his own massive gun.
* Blizzard Authenticator: This little gizmo will be great for protecting my account from the hackers and keyloggers out there
* World of Warcraft magazine preview: Yep, just when you thought there wasn't enough coverage of WoW, there's an official magazine coming soon. There's a cute little preview booklet in the goody bag -- a great souvenir, but not much use.
* The Blizzcon map & schedule: This will be my lifeblood for the next couple of days
* Hand sanitizer: What does this say about gamers, seeing as how they give it out every year? Are we dirty, or germaphobes -- or both?
* A set of promotional postcards, including a quest card from Brady Games and an epic loot key from Steelseries. Maybe they'll give me a new mouse, seeing as how I've warn the hell out of the one I have.
Okay well Raynor and I have some travelling to do. Methinks he needs to see a Mandifesto about a mouse...
