Transport Vision

2030 - A Vision for Transport

Swindon in 2030 aims to become both the UK's best business destination and the UK's number one sustainable community. At the same time the town will need to accommodate around 37,000 additional homes. An effective, robust transport system is key to making this happen.

Summary Transport VisionTransport affects the lives of most people in their daily routine. The Transport Vision sets out how we envisage Swindon to work and live in and how transport can be part of this to enhance people's lives and not hinder them.

To support the vision, there are several strategies or interventions we propose. These are explained in a downloadable PDF file:
