The popularity of AFL football is staggering. In 2008, crowds reached an all-time attendance record of 7,083,015 people through the turnstiles across the country. While our cumulative average television audience reached an incredible 14 million people across the 5 capital cities and 5 major regions. Club membership also set a new record with almost 575,000 people being financial members of their Club.

Exceptional growth was also reflected in the AFL’s Event & Hospitality Program, which continues to provide premium corporate hospitality opportunities for companies throughout Australia. Our comprehensive program provides a range of first-class options that extend across our four key areas: matchday functions, major events, Grand Final week events and the AFL Premiership Club.
