COMMENTS: This dinosaur has been described at various times
as Iguanodon, Hylaeosaurus and as a
sauropod
, but it is now recognised as a primitive stegosaur.
SPECIES LIST:
R. northamptoni Mantell, 1848
(type)
including
Hylaeosaurus northamptoni. This was once erroneously
included
with Chondrosteosaurus gigas. Possibly a senior
synonym
of Craterosaurus pottonensis.
