Fanboys stay away if you cant handle the truth
Elite! when this word comes to mind i think of best of the best, top dog, greatest, untouchable, and best in the business. Ironically, this is not the case at all with the xbox 360 elite. I mean from the moment i opened this console i compared it to my other 360 and tried to figure what the major differences were and this is what i came up with: bigger hard drive, an hdmi port, an included hdmi cable, and a black color on the console and all its included accessories. Now, if you have a 360 this is not worth the money. However, if you really want a 360 and no other console than get this. But, i do not encourage it. Simply because when i bought this i expected it to have some of the included features that the ps3 has: Built in wifi, blueray, and it is also very compatible with 3rd party products; the elite is not. I was very disappointed and if you had a choice between this and wii or ps3, i would suggest you get a ps3 or wii. Not to mention that i also expected this console to be the one not to get the RROD(Red Ring of Death). This console was advertised to have a "Jasper Chip" which the old consoles did not have. This Jasper Chip is supposed to decrease the chance of your 360 overheating and eventually breaking on you. However, that was not the case with me. I am very upset and i have decided to sell all my 360 games and accessories; I'm tired of paying for repairs. I bought a sony ps3 in April 2007 and it is still running great, not to mention the free online and great games. For those looking for real advise you have seen this review, for those wanting to troll around and defend this console like a family member stop being foolish and let others express their opinions and experiences.

Xbox 360
The latest console from microsoft is one to remember. It is a true competitor to Sony's Playstation 3 and the Nintendo Wii. Amazing multiplayer and awesome online play from Xbox Live you can play with people around the world. Graphics are top of the line and any game you buy will be outstanding and breath taking. Although it does have its flaws it is still the best game console you can buy and brag about.

Why The 360 Is The Console For Me
To start off, I have a PS1, PS2, PSP, and an Xbox 360. Why no PS3 you ask? Well I'm about to tell you. With about 50 real life friends that use Xbox Live, social gaming is a major advantage to owning a 360. When ever I am on, there is ALWAYS someone I can play with, and on the chance I don't want to, the LIVE community of 12 million people will keep you busy. Put this with a Netflix membership and a LIVE party, and you can soon be enjoying a movie with your buds from school, work, online, etc. So the already great online service is going to become even better this fall, and I can't wait.
The Games-
With titles like Halo, Fable, Grand Theft Auto, Gears of Ware, and Rock Band all containing exclusive, or timed exclusive content for the 360, their gaming lineup is great. When put with the almighty online community, your gaming just got even better!
The Price-
Coming in at $300 for the 60 GB version, the 360 is great on the wallet! In fact, the only disadvantage is the crazy amount of games you will want to get!
The Graphics-
Don't ever let anyone tell you the PS3 has better graphics! They might have blu-ray, but the only advantage is disk space! Multi-platform games are going to be the same on both consoles, and the only time the PS3 will see better graphics, is on exclusive titles. At the time, there aren't many, and the lineup doesn't appeal much to me... Unless you want to play MGS4, and watch 10+ hours of cutscenes, PS3 games don't have the luxury of a 360 title.
While I could go on, this is the bottom line for buying a console. If you are in the market, online play, games, price, and graphics are probably going to be you top priorities. My recomendation, go with the 360, you won't regret it.
