“John Lennon: The New York City Years” at Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Annex NYC (Ongoing)
This exhibit chronicles Lennon’s life in New York City—from his struggle to get a green card (due to Nixonian paranoia) to his life as a “house husband” after the birth of his son Sean. Many of the artifacts, including Lennon’s iconic New York City T-shirt and handwritten lyrics for “Whatever Gets You Thru the Night,” are from Yoko Ono’s personal collection, and are on view for the first time ever.
