HEADSTONE ABBREVIATIONS


I have done some research on the various cemetery headstone abbreviations. Here are the ones I have found. If you are aware of one I do not have, please email me, so I can add them to the list.

Woodmen Circle W.O.W. Woodmen of the World W.O.W. Women of Woodcraft *Many times the RNA will only have a small aluminum stake beside the tombstone with those initials on it. The others will usually have the name of the organization spelled out but occasionally have only the initials on the stone.
