MILTON — A man was fatally injured when he overturned his three-wheel Harley Davidson motorcycle Sunday afternoon. The accident occurred at around 3:18 p.m. at the corner of Fleet Ave. and Chipley St.

Milton resident Leonard B. Keller, 62, accelerated his bike and made a sharp left turn as he was leaving the parking lot of the Fleet Reserve Association (F.R.A.).

According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, Keller was traveling too fast for the turn and left the paved surface of the road.

Keller drove into a Fleet Ave. yard and overturned the motorcycle several times. The bike landed on Keller, who was not wearing a helmet. He was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital, where he was pronounced dead late Sunday evening, according to the FHP report.

The accident is under investigation.
