Date : October 4-10, 2003
Place : Phra That Choeng Chum Temple, Sakhon Nakhon
Another ceremony to celebrate the end of the Buddhist Lent, the wax castle procession is held annually at
Sakon Nakhon Province. Locals mould beeswax into miniature Buddhist temples and shrines to pay respect to the revered local stupa and to make merit. A boat race and other cultural performances are among the beatific activities.
