Allsports.com Info On the Riders
The Riders is an expansion team, but it's loaded with veteran talent as well as a few key rookies. They're led by Coach Xavier McDaniel, who brings his experiences and knowlegde from the NBA and applies them to his coaching. This Riders is chock full of talent, such as James "Champ" Willis, and essential part of last season's championship team, the Rumble. Willis, part of the "SlamBall Six," uses his knowledge and experience  to help out the rookies and score points for his team. Calvin Patterson, part of last season's runner-up Diablos, is one of the Riders' highest scorers. Joe Cocca is the enforcer on the Riders, and is also a pretty decent scorer. Rookie George Byrd is taking the league by storm with his amazing stopping skills. He's the Riders' starting stopper and one of the biggest players in the league. Veteran Anthony Ademiluyi splits playing time with Byrd. Marcus Reed is one of the speediest players in the league with the amazing ability to sprint from one side of the court to the other for a slam. Eian Daniels, star of last season's dysfunctional Slashers was brought to the Riders in a last-minute trade. Here on the Riders, he must learn to share the ball with the other players. The Riders count on Bryce Arledge to make the clutch plays.
