Water Services
The provision of reticulated water is a direct responsibility of Council with the prime objective being the provision of safe and reliable supplies at an acceptable cost to the community whilst encouraging a water conservation attitude within the community at large.
Council maintains two different systems; normal pressurized and constant flow.

Water Restrictions
For consumers in the Calliope, Boyne Island, Mt Larcom and Gladstone areas (Lake Awoonga supply) there are currently no water restrictions. Council would only impose restrictions on advice from the Gladstone Area Water Board.
Customers in the Agnes Water and Seventeen Seventy areas should continue to observe their standard restrictions. A fact sheet has been prepared for each township clearly defining the restrictions.
