Enjoy a Wild Day Out at VisitScotland's Tourism Attraction of the Year!

Seabirds nesting, gannets diving, dolphins leaping, chicks hatching and seal pups snoozing - there's always something new happening at the Scottish Seabird Centre!

The five star award-winning Seabird Centre is set in a stunning location overlooking the islands of the Firth of Forth and the white sandy beaches of North Berwick. It's a great day out with something for everyone! In the exciting Discovery Centre - with amazing live cameras, you can zoom in for a nose to beak encounter with seabirds and marine wildlife - and there's always something new to see - puffins

and gannets with chicks in spring and summer and seals with pups in winter. There's a Wildlife Cinema, Kids' Zone, Migration Flyway & Environment Zone, Seabird Seafari Boat Trips (March-October) and an exciting programme of events all year round.

Visitors with Disabilities

We have endeavoured to ensure that our facilities throughout the attraction are as inclusive to everyone as possible.

The Seabird Centre is fully wheelchair accessible, including a lift to the Discovery Centre. Disabled parking is located directly in front of the Centre with a short path to the entrance. Additionally, we have a disabled toilet with handrails and wide door access. We can also provide a wheelchair for the use of visitors, on request.

For hard-of-hearing visitors we offer an induction loop. We permit assistance dogs in all areas of the attraction. As well as these specific facilities, the attraction consists of outstanding visuals, sound effects, music and evocative smells which allow a multi-sensory experience for all.
