These flash videos are how-to's on
performing some of the
basic tasks in Linux to get you up and running successfully. You will
need a flash enabled browser to view these files.
Windows in 4 simple steps:
Download the most current iso from the Puppy
- You may have to
change the boot order in your BIOS settings. Typically hit F2 (or some
other Function key) as your first screen appears when you power on your
computer. Then edit the boot order so that CD's are bootable before
anything else. Save and exit. Reboot.
- If you are still having
trouble with the computer not wanting to boot from the CD there is a
workaround called WakePup.
Alternatively, seek help on the Puppy IRC
files help you perform
specific tasks using Puppy Linux. They have been created
various versions of Puppy Linux so your version may be slightly
different, but probably quite similar.
