Between professional chefs and the public, more than a 100 dishes were nominated for the inaugural class of the Washington City Paper's D.C. Dish Hall of Fame. I've narrowed the list down to what I consider the 30 dishes that could represent the D.C. area well, if elected. The dishes are all listed below, where you can vote for your top three. The five dishes that get the most votes will be the inaugural inductees. You have until Dec. 11 to vote. —Tim Carman

Vote for any three dishes in any order. Voting is limited to one vote per email address. Please don't try to vote twice! Instead, share a pre-filled ballot for one of the nominees with your friends.

The order of your choices doesn't matter. Each dish you choose will be awarded one vote.
Got a gripe with the nominees or something to say about D.C.'s signature dishes? Your comments will be sent directly to Tim Carman, who will publish the best comments or critiques on Young & Hungry.
Required. One vote per person. We won't share your email with anyone else. Check this box if you want to receive the weekly Young & Hungry newsletter.
