NCAA Initial Eligibility Clearinghouse

If you intend to participate in Division I (or II) athletics as a freshman, you must register and be certified by the NCAA Initial-Eligibility Clearinghouse.

Visit the NCAA Eligibility web site at ncaa.org for more information and answers to your questions. Refer to the Academic Eligibility and Core Courses pages to determine the initial-eligibility standards that apply to you.

Prospective Student-Athlete Questionnaires

Fill out the online questionnaire in the pulldown menu at right for the UW sport which interest you. Note: not all sports have online questionnaires. If a sport does not have a recruiting form on uwbadgers.com, please email contactus@uwbadgers.com indicating the sport in which you would like information.

Information for all Prospective Student-Athletes

NOTE: NCAA rules prohibit college coaches from writing prospective student athletes (PSA) or their parents, before Sept. 1 of the PSA's junior year in high school, except for responding to requests for a student-athlete questionnaire. Mens' basketball may correspond at the conclusion of the sophomore year.
