MIKE Newell has made his second signing in as many days after Derby County midfielder Arnaud Mendy arrived for an initial one-month loan deal today.

The 19-year-old Frenchman was born in Evreux and arrived at Pride Park during the summer of 2008.

He impressed with his performances as a powerhouse midfielder and was given his chance in the Rams senior squad in their pre-season game against Stoke in August of this year.

He's described as a tower of strength who can get up and down the field.

Arnaud will go straight into the squad to face Rochdale on Saturday.

Bradley Signs Pro Deal.

Meanwhile, young defender Bradley Wood has been rewarded for his endeavours with a 4-year professional contract with the Mariners.

He was named in the first-team squad for the first time against Shrewsbury in December 2008 but didn't come off the bench.

Since making his full first team debut against Darlington last month, the Leicester born defender has excelled in the Town defence in the absence of injured Robbie Stockdale.
