Two New Prince of Persia Photos

Disney has provided us with a new photo from Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time while Fantasy.fr has posted another photo. You can check them both out below.

Opening in theaters on May 28, the Mike Newell-directed video game adaptation stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Kingsley, Gemma Arterton, Alfred Molina and Toby Kebbell. The film is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.

Ugh, Jake Gyllenhaal completely takes me me out of this movie...I just can't take it seriously when the lead guy is white and isn't suppose to be.

I tried not letting it bother me, but it's almost as weird/wrong as Mickey Rooney being cast as an asian.

I think the photos look amazing. It's sure to be a hit. The preview on yahoo movies was also amazing.

What soot is trying to say is that he doesn't look "Persian". Me personally..? I don't see what the big deal is, he doesn't look like a straight up white boy to me like he did in Jarhead.

The last character I think of while looking at Jake Gyllenhaal is the persian prince, who doesn't have a name in the video game btw. In the film he's called Dastan. But we've seen this before (Jack Napier in Batman etc).

Gyllenhaal looks like a dork with a wig.
