1. The competition commences Wednesday November 25, 2009.
2. Entries close Midnight Sunday December 20, 2009.
3. Entrants must upload an image of their “Merry Pet” via the home page link at www.geelongnews.com.au including contact details and their pet’s name.
4. By entering this competition, entrants agree to GeelongNEWS publishing submitted images for editorial or marketing purposes of this competition.
5. By entering this competition, entrants also agree to be available for the winner’s photo shoot to be scheduled after December 20, 2009.
6. Email is the only method of entry.
7. The winner will be contacted by phone.
8. The winner will then be required to visit the Geelong Advertiser at 191-195 Ryrie Street, Geelong with personal identification to verify himself or herself and collect the prize.
9. The winner receive one $500 pet – e – cash from Phil Menz Best Friends Pet Super Centre, Geelong.
10. Prize is non transferrable or exchangeable for cash and must be taken as offered.
11. Judge’s decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

Light-Up your Christmas Lights… wisely
Terms & Conditions
1. Private households may nominate themselves to be registered as part of the Christmas Lights competition by completing and sending in the entry form published inside the Geelong Advertiser daily from Friday, November 20, 2009 through to Wednesday December 2, 2009.
2. Nominations are only open to private households.
3. Businesses, schools sporting clubs etc are not eligible enter.
4. By nominating householders give permission for Geelong Advertiser to publish the household’s address.
5. By nominating, householders also agree to prominently display a small sign at the front of their house that includes their voting code and SMS voting line number.
6. By nominating all householders give permission for their house to be photographed and for those photographs to be published by the Geelong Advertiser Group.
7. Where possible, submitted photos will also be accepted for promotional purposes of the competition.
8. By nominating, entrants also agree to go in the running for the Geelong Advertiser Judge’s Award, as nominated by the appointed Geelong Advertiser panel.
9. By nominating after the SMS voting begins on Friday, December 4, households understand that they have a shortened period for SMS voting.
10. The Geelong Advertiser reserves the right to disqualify entrants based on their entry not meeting the criteria.
11. SMS calls cost 55c inc GST
12. Entrants must SMS the number of the house they are voting for first followed by their full name to the advertised SMS number.
13. Voting begins at 12.01am Friday, December 4, 2009 and closes at 11.00am Thursday, December 24, 2009.
14. The top SMS vote getter at 11.00am Thursday December 24, 2009 will be deemed the winner and will receive one $500 Coles Voucher.
15. Second prize and a Judge’s Choice entrant will receive one $250 Coles voucher each.
16. Where there are multiple households with the same number of votes prizes will be divided equally.
17. One randomly drawn SMS voter will win a $500 Coles voucher.
18. Winners will be notified in writing and will then be required to visit the Geelong Advertiser at 191-195 Ryrie Street, Geelong with personal identification to verify himself or herself and collect the prize.
19. Prizes will not be available for collection until after mail correspondence is received by the winner.
20. Prizes will be available for collection Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm at Geelong Advertiser, excluding public holidays.
21. Prizes are not redeemable for cash.
22. The random draw will take place at Dialect Interactive Services, Level 9/190 George Street, Sydney, NSW.
23. The judge’s decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
24. The winners will be announced inside Geelong Advertiser on Saturday, December 26, 2009.
25. Personal information collected as part of this competition is for the purpose of conducting this promotion and awarding prizes.
26. Employees of the Geelong Advertiser Group, promotion partners and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.

Entrants must see inside the Geelong Advertiser on Saturday December 12 to find Gordon the Gobbling Turkey.
Readers must SMS their name, suburb and five page numbers that feature our gobbling friend Gordon the Turkey to 1971 9722. Eg John Smith, Newtown, pages 3, 18, 34, 43, 52.
