Overview
Comprising 3,200 people in nine locations, MDS is developing several advanced missile defense systems and integrated missile defense solutions for all phases of ballistic missile threats. The Ground-based Midcourse Defense system and the Airborne Laser are key components of the government's layered missile defense system.
