Any reviews on it yet? It has killer looks, but I won’t buy it until I know if it suits my playstyle of VF and Tekken.

The Saulabis I have used to PS2 which seems identical to this one sucked. The stick itself is ok but the buttons are shit. I bought two at the same time and the buttons broke after less than 6 months on one of them. It didn’t take long till one of the buttons on the other one got busted either. So I would warn everyone to think again before you buy one of those. There are a lot of other sticks that have the same form.

^^ The newer Saulabi have a decent stock case but the buttons are easily replaced if you have some modding skills. The stick itself is a fanta stick and is the same used in most arcades in Korea.
For $50, it sure beats out paying 100+ for an HRAP especially if you’re looking for a Korean style stick.
A friend of mine has one and was easily able to swap in a Taeyoung Fantasia stick(hard rubber spring), without any problem….

MarkMan,
where can I get a Taeyoung Fantasia stick(hard rubber spring)? I dont like it loose, must be a little stiff for 1p wavedashing.

Man I bought the ‘blue asian stick’ from saulabi and the stick sucks, crown I suppose it doesn’t have the clickers and it’s not even as good as the sticks in the tekken dr arcade machines in america.
However the case and buttons are wonderful, although I am not sure how long they may last. The case is light and fits in my lap when sitting cross legged, the buttons are comfortable, especially for julia 4~2 which I for some reason have to slightly shift my hand to do on arcade machines.
I’m going to try to put my tekken tag fantasia stick in there, we’ll see how that goes.

From what I read on forums, Saulabi sticks come with some imitation K-Stick. Its decent to some, crappy to many. I highly recommend Tae Young Fanta sticks for modding it. Or some good ol’ Myoungshin Fanta sticks with the brown gersung switches.

I was able to put into the saulabi sps-3000 stick quite easily my fanta myoungshin(with the brown gersun switches :shades:), it has screw holes for both the fanta size and their imitation k-stick(slightly smaller)
I dunno their stick is really weird, it has like two copper bars running parallel to each other and connectors at the same spot(about 1/4th down from where the stick touches). Over time I think these copper metal clips will bend permanently, possibly to the point that they both touch all the time, or they have very poor response.

Its the bottom left black one with the bat top. You can see the copper ‘bars’, not sure what else to call them, one of them is longer and has a rubber glove at the end where the stick will touch it.

So, any reviews of this stick? The look and the price are very attractive. Is it worth the price? Compared to a Hori real arcade pro 3 ? I’m about to buy one to use it on my PC with mame to play sf3 3rd strike and more. Is there any PC compatibility problem with that stick?
Thanks for the answers
