NAMCO BANDAI GAMES announceS A series of

TEKKEN® 6 tournaments at PENNY ARCADE EXPO 2009

NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. today revealed it will host three days of TEKKEN® 6 tournaments at the 2009 Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle, WA. The tournaments will be held on September 4-6 at the NAMCO BANDAI Games booth (#922) in the Washington State Convention & Trade Center. This exhibition will be another opportunity for all players to check out the console versions of TEKKEN 6 prior to its highly anticipated North American release on October 27, 2009.

Starting at 10 a.m. each day of the expo, attendees can sign up for a chance to compete and test their skills against the best players around. Competitions will run from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. daily with a grand prize to be awarded during the 5 p.m. finals.

More about TEKKEN 6

A must-have for fighting aficionados, TEKKEN 6 sees the return of many familiar faces and new characters to create the largest line-up in franchise history. Adding to the already robust gaming experience, dynamic and destructible environments will enable players to punch their enemies through concrete walls or kick them through floors to open a whole new battleground. Players can also take the battle online for classic match-ups and to compete for world domination. Furthermore, an impressive real-time motion blur effect has been implemented to provide the richest visuals the series has ever seen.

Featuring a new Scenario Campaign mode, players are introduced to a unique hybrid control system that combines conventional fighting game controls with free movement. This system allows them to progress through the story and mow down hordes of enemies while still enjoying fighting game action either alone or cooperatively online. For the first time in the series, players will have an arsenal of staffs, machine guns, flame throwers, and even giant robots at their disposal.

  7. Blind Ghost Says:

Im just tired of these Vids man, they can only do so much. not only that but thier not even 60 FPS and HD.

not blaming you markman im just saing is all, all these youtube vids are now starting to get old. i honestly think ive watched every Jin, Raven ,Feng , Dragunov vid out there. theres nothing left for me to do.

when i get the game im gonna put up a a lot of HD quality vids for my best characters. so that i can get people intrested in T6.

gotta contribute a bit to the Glory of Tekken. Know what i mean ??

      60fps 720p.

Just don’t complain about the size of the files. 100mb per round.

I DL’ed these; The graphic prowess and the fluidity of the moves are astounding. The blur, that was touted by the Tekken creators, actually helps the realism of the movement. It reminds me of real fights, especially when you are guarding while in-fighting; you cannot always crisply see movement, and the blur effect copies this really well I think. Only gripe I have about the videos are how bad the players were. Seems this was strictly new people playing around with the game. Paul was continually doing D+4, and the Law player kept using the machine gun arrow chain. XD

  8. MarkMan Says:

Trust me there will be a lot of 60fps/HD vids up of TEKKEN real soon. The game is less than 60 days away! Hang in there!

    • garfield Says:

i never realised it was that many days to go …. ^.^

  9. Nando Says:

HAHAHA! Yes, Awesome. Now I gotta get there early and grab the entry fee before the line gets too long; I live in the seatac area.

  10. Natalie Says:

    AAAAAAH! I can’t wait. :)

  11. TCO-TheOne Says:

Yea i’m always looking for new videos, but nobody is posting just thinking about it being less than 60 days away seems to long. I just have to wait for the videos from MarkMan.

  12. Blind Ghost Says:
