Jorge Rojas returns to Venezuela
January 1, 2010

Jorge Rojas, Juan Carlos Osorio's much-ballyhooed signing, is no longer a Metro. A player without a position who made a habit of holding the ball five seconds too long, has signed with Deportivo Tachira in his native Venezuela. According to the club's official website, he signed a one-year deal and will join the team on January 3rd.

Rojas played in 37 games in all competitions for Metro, tallying four goals and eight assists. Those four goals came in two games: two in a league match vs San Jose, two in an Open Cup game vs DC.
