TorrentInvite.com - Tracker Forum For Invites & Chat

June 12, 09 by sharky   5,302  views

For more than two years now and still going strong, TorrentInvite.com has established itself as one of the leading tracker invite & discussion boards. Like many torrent boards, TI is considered semi-private (that is, registration is generally not open to the public). But for a limited time, Omega and the rest of the crew over at TI are running a FSF promo for aspiring new members.

http://torrentinvite.com/fsf_invite.php

Simply enter your desired username, as well as a valid email address (gmail is best) and select the FileShareFreak Promo option. Perhaps add a small message explaining why you’d like to be a part of the community, and wait for manual confirmation. It’s that simple! Just don’t create a dupe account.

Omega, the owner of TI gave FSF a brief rundown of the site:

TorrentInvite.com (TI) was started over two years ago. I started the site because I found it was nearly impossible to get invites to a number of private trackers. You really had to know someone personally who was a member. Well I didn’t have may friends who were torrent users, so had an idea to start an online community where users could get to know one another and give each other their invites.

Back then it was one of the only torrent invite forums out there. I feel that TI was sort of a pioneer at the time. We started very slow with just a few loyal members, and honestly I was doubtful that it would ever get off the ground and become successful. The site looked sort of unprofessional and we also allowed invite trading.

Slowly changes where made. We paid for a professional design for the site. We banned invite trading. And we enlisted a number of mods who made sure that traders, cheaters, and other scum stayed off the boards. We also encouraged our members to really get to know one another and build a good reputation on the site. And I think a lot of our members realized that if they were completely honest, gave their invites unselfishly to others, and got to know other members on the site, that they could get virtually any invite they wanted.

Today, TI is still a relatively small community but is thriving as one of the best invite forums out there. Our members give away tons of invites, and also provide up to date information on torrent news, open torrent sites, and lots of tracker reviews.

TorrentInvite.com - A Look Inside…

Here’s a quick look at some of TI’s features:

Minimum Participation? YES Some areas, such as Requests and regular Invite Giveaways require a minimum postcount.
Credit / Rep System? YES Uses a custom rep system which includes giveaways & regular threads (help, etc.).
Invite Requests? YES You’ll require 100 posts & be a member for 30 days or longer.
Invite Trading? NO Not allowed - trading of tracker invites is forbidden.
VIP / Hidden Forums? YES Called the "T.I. Elite Group" - invites are handed out freely here.
Invite Giveaways? YES Divided into 2 sections ("Low Level" and regular "Invite Giveaways").
Tracker Recruitment? YES Located in the ‘Open Signup’ - "New Trackers" thread, found here.
Tracker Reviews? YES Currently lists 157 different tracker reviews.
Seedbox Discussion? YES There’s a sub-forum in ‘General’ for "Seedbox / Shells".
TorrentInvite Stats:   Online since: May 10, 2007. Threads: 18,578 | Posts: 185,681 | Members: 12,055 | Active Members: 1,848

Invite "Giveaways" — This is broken down into two categories:

  • • "Low-Level Invite Giveaways" - is accessible to all members. Last 10 GAs (today): BitGamer, IPT, ProAudioTorrents, ScL, THC, FunFile, Torrent.lt, VipMusic, TheBox, PreTome.
  • • "Invite Giveaways" section requires a minimum postcount of 20 and TI membership for at least 15 days. Sites here are substantially better. Last 10 GAs (today): Karagarga, HDTorrents, BitMe, BitMeTV, RevoTT, TTi, ThePlace, TL, T-D, PtN.

Total invite giveaway threads (for both sections) created in the last 30 days: 400+. TI members are serious about sharing their invites, and it remains their biggest attraction.

Customized ‘Rep System’ — You won’t see this anywhere else - TI employs a custom rep system for received invites. When ‘repping’ someone for a GA, a list of trackers is displayed - each with its own specific rep value on a scale through 1-20. For example, if you fulfil a BitMeTV invite you’ll receive 5 rep points (assuming you get properly repped as you should). IPT and other low-level invites will only give you 1 (one) rep point. Why does this system work? Members strive to build up reputation (and increase their chances for obtaining even better sites), thus there are some great GAs to be found.

There are three other ways to get into TorrentInvite.com:

  • • Come back when they have open signups. A few days a month they will be open to new members. Keep checking back!
  • • Find someone with an invite. Ask around, you might be surprised who is already a member of the community. Most members are given 5 invites to invite their friends to TI.
  • • Join FileHoard.com - this is their official sister site and they will be handing out invites to members who get involved there.

Our Last Word:

As their name suggests, TorrentInvite.com is all about the invites. You won’t find discussion about P2P, Usenet, Limewire and the like - it’s almost exclusively about trackers only. While user postcount, activity & reputation play an integral role for getting in on those great private tracker invite giveaways, almost anything is possible.

i am using dynamic ip, not able to register

Our server has detected the presence of multiple IP connections from your machine, with one of the connections being an “Open Proxy” or blacklisted IP. Connections of this nature are often used in order to abuse, spam or defraud. Our server has denied you any further access until both IP addresses can be resolved or the presence of the Open Proxy connection closed.

i’m presuming a torrent invite forum is no better than a power user invite forum on a good tracker?

  22. 022   •   a/s/l Says:

    @johnh

be honest who uses a real email address to sign up to these kind of things anyway? it’s 10minutemail all the time for me (unless the admin have blacklisted it, in which case i use an alternative disposable email)

  23. 023   •   Despite Says:

The best way to get an invite is to register at Filehoard and become active there. Once we see you are active, we will give you an invite to TI.

    TPS FTW!

whenever an invite forum gets a review here, some dumfuck has to come out and say TPS FTW!!TPS ROCKS!!…lol,is it even necessary to say such worthless things?comparing the giveaways of TPS and TI,it doesnt take a genius to figure out which is better here…one time torrentleech giveaway was not allowed in TPS..lmao
TPS really shouldn’t be an invite forum…rather a bittorrent chat place, more than half of the top trackers are in no-movement list

oh btw,i am not banned from TPS or anything, just giving my honest opinion…just so another idiot might not ask ‘am i banned?’
