	Oh, you Red Sox! Isabella Gardner was an avid Red Sox fan and season ticket holder. Following the team’s championship win over the New York Giants in 1912, the grand dame showed her support in unique fashion, attending a Boston Symphony Orchestra concert wearing a white headband on which she’d scrawled the words “Oh, you Red Sox!” The act prompted one local reporter to refer to her as “a woman… gone crazy.” Throughout the year, visitors to the Gardner Museum wearing Red Sox paraphernalia also receive a special $2 off admission. Visitors can also learn more about Isabella Gardner’s Red Sox connections in an archival information binder at the visitors’ information desk.
