July 16th:  This week's episode of "Ring of Honor Wrestling" on HDNet features a tremendous six man tag team main event featuring ROH World Tag Team Champions The American Wolves & Chris Hero with Shane Hagadorn against Kevin Steen, El Generico, & KENTA.  Other bouts include The Young Bucks vs. Silas Young & Bobby Fish and Delirious vs. Brodie Lee.  We'll also hear from Jimmy Jacobs.  For more information please visit:

July 16th: Ring of Honor World Champion Austin Aries has heard the clamoring by fans for him to face Kenny Omega on Night Two of Death Before Dishonor VII. He’s heard the call for him to put the ROH World Title on the line against the charismatic Canadian in front of his countrymen. But the ‘wants’ of the fans haven’t translated into a ‘need’ for A Double. Aries said, “Let me get this straight, I have three title defenses the first night (of DBDVIII), and now the famously fickle fans want another one? Well, I’m glad they see that none of the three men I’m facing on Friday can beat me, but yet, they somehow think Kenny Omega has a shot?” The champ went on to say, “Oh, I get it, Omega holds a victory over me. Well, I’ve beaten him too! So, how does that equal a title shot? Look, I don’t jump for anyone and I’m not going to right now just because the ‘fans’ all of a sudden WANT something. I’m on my clock, not theirs. I answer to me, not them. After all, I’m the “MV3” and the only two-time ROH Champion in history. The fans want Omega to get a chance at becoming a star? Well, they can wait. If I feel like it, maybe I’ll give him that chance. But remember, I’m not A star. I’m THE star.” More on this as it develops.

July 16th: After another impressive set of appearances, ROH is happy to announce that both “Skullkrusher” Rasche Brown has been added to the September 18th event in Dayton and the September 19th event in Chicago.

July 16th: Are you one of the 4,100 plus fans of ROH on Twitter? If not, go online and log onto and become a fan! July 16th: Frankie the Mobster came very close to toppling “That Young Knockout Kid” Chris Hero when Ring of Honor rolled through Montreal in April. ROH officials were impressed with Frankie’s performances, but his going isn’t getting any easier. Signed for Toronto on July 24th, Frankie will oppose D-Lo Brown. D-Lo has come into his own as of late in ROH, with several impressive bouts under his belt. “I told ROH to beware of the Brown. And I’ve gone out there and shown what I’m all about. In Toronto it continues, and it’s sad really, because it looks like I’m gonna have to shut down the promising ROH career of Frankie the Mobster before it even has a chance to begin. What can Brown do to you? In Toronto, Frankie the Mobster will find out.”

July 16th: Also signed for ROH’s next tour through the Midwest on 9/18 in Dayton and 9/19 in Chi-Town: ROH World Champion Austin Aries, Silas Young, Chris Hero with Shane Hagadorn (9/18 only), ROH World Tag Team Champions- The American Wolves, and Colt “Boom Boom” Cabana. More names will be announced as we move forward.

July 14th: As announced yesterday on the main page (, signed for July 25th in Toronto is Nigel McGuinness versus Tyler Black! Those in attendance at the last ROH on HDNet Television Tapings saw the hostility between these two become reignited, as they did one-on-one battle, and later in the taping, Nigel in effect cost Tyler a victory, with tempers flaring. Now, that, on top of all the history between these two ROH greats, will boil over during Death Before Dishonor VII! Tickets for both nights are still available at! Don’t forget, both Bret Hart (on 7/24) and Ric Flair (on 7/25) will be a part of the festivities!

July 14th: After a tremendous showing on the last Midwest swing, we are happy to announce that Petey Williams has signed and will be on hand when ROH returns to Dayton on September 18th and Chicago on September 19th! Petey made waves in both Detroit and Chicago, and we’re excited to see what round two will bring!

July 14th: The war between the Embassy and the team of Colt Cabana, Necro Butcher, Brent Albright, and company is going to take the next step during Death Before Dishonor VII! As announced earlier today at, an 8-Man Elimination Match has been signed for July 24th in Toronto! At the last ROH on HDNet Television Tapings, Cabana was able to outlast the Embassy and claim victory for his Army, but now, the stakes have risen! Prince Nana has called on Joey Ryan to take out Cabana, for Jimmy Rave to take out Necro, and for Claudio Castagnoli to leave Brent Albright unable to even make it to their Euro Rules match the next night. Nana said, “My Embassy will reign because now the mammoth bison, Bison Smith, will complete my forces, and that stinking tiny lumberjacker, Grizzly Redwood, will be the weak link.” Can Cabana and crew overcome the odds with both Nana and Osiris at ringside? Will the Embassy assert their control? Be there and find out!

July 14th: Don’t forget that on July 24th after night one of Death Before Dishonor VII, ROH plans on burning the Midnight Oil at ‘The Champion’s Den’ – owned and operated by Jade Chung! Be a part of the official ROH after party. For more information, visit

July 14th: Speaking of Cabana, he just got off a successful two week tour of Europe in which he represented Ring of Honor with pride. Colt was successful in defeating legendary British wrestler, Johnny Saint, in the third round of a great back-and-forth bout on Saint’s home turf in England. The event was promoted by 1PW in Sheffield, England. El Generico, Jerry Lynn, and Nigel McGuinness also represented ROH in front of over 1,000 fans on this great event. Congratulations to Cabana on his victory!

July 14th: Ring of Honor returns to The Arena in South Philly for another great set of television tapings on August 14th and 15th. In addition to the great roster of talent already announced, we’re happy to add: Sonjay Dutt, “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson, Jimmy Rave and Bison Smith with Prince Nana, “Addicted to Love” Rhett Titus, Delirious with Daizee Haze, Erick Stevens, Brodie Lee (8/14 only), Sterling James Keenan, Rhett Titus, Eddie Kingston (8/15 only), and Sara del Rey.

July 14th: Shane Hagadorn sent word to the ROH officials that “That Young Knockout Kid” Chris Hero has some pointed comments for Lance Storm coming in next week’s ROH Videowire.

July 14th: We’re happy to announce the first names for our return to Boston on September 25th and New York on September 26th: Kenny Omega, Sonjay Dutt, The Young Bucks of Matt and Nick Jackson, Eddie Kingston (9/26 only), and Guido Maritato (9/25 only).
