June 11th: ROH officials have made a change to the June 27th Chicago Ridge lineup. D’Lo Brown has been chomping at the bit since “Take No Prisoners”, and now it seems he’ll get his wish. “Erick Stevens is tough, but I wanted Danielson, and he knows it.” ROH officials received phone calls from both Bryan Danielson and Erick Stevens earlier in the week, and now the match is set. Stevens has agreed to step aside on 6/27 and let Bryan Danielson face D’Lo Brown in Chicago! As you’ll see when “Take No Prisoners” begins airing this Friday, the intensity between Brown and Dragon was off the charts, and the Windy City will get a taste of it first hand!

June 11th: Erick Stevens’ night won’t be much easier on the 27th as he’s traded in a match against one powerhouse Brown for another. It’ll be Stevens versus ROH newcomer “Skullkrusher” Rasche Brown! Brown impressed the ROH faithful weeks back when he made his Chicago ROH debut, and this time, the going will be a bit rougher. Can the 6'5", 275 pound newcomer derail the powerful Choo-choo? We’ll see on 6/27!

June 11th: Thank you to all of our followers on Twitter! We’ve just surpassed 3,000 followers much faster than we anticipated, and we certainly appreciate it! Not yet a follower? Get all of your ROH News minute-by-minute by logging on and connecting with us at

June 11th: Roderick Strong’s recent streak has been more than impressive, and on June 20th in Philly he’ll have the chance to avenge one of his few losses as of late. Several weeks back on HDNet, “Nature Boy” Ric Flair told Austin Aries that he’d have to back up his mouth with action, and Aries lived up to the challenge by going out and defeating Roddy in a great TV main event. Now they’ll do it again when ROH and HDNet return to the Arena on the 20th, and this time, it'll be Strong looking to prove something.

June 11th: Jerry Lynn and Tyler Black will tangle this Friday in Manassas in a non-title match. Just signed as part of the ROH on HDNet National Television tapings is a rematch. “Tyler deserves a title match,” said Lynn. “But the timing just wasn’t right for me to agree to that in Manassas with all of the prep I’ve been doing for New York. As Tyler said the Videowire, we both have bigger fish to fry on that day.” Should Lynn retain the ROH World Title at the Hammerstein, he will put it on the line against Tyler in Philly, and it will be on National TV!

June 11th: A few weeks back, Bryan Danielson told everyone in attendance in Boston that all of the “please come back” chants directed at Sonjay Dutt were well deserved, as the two had just battled in a great Three Way Dance. Dutt earned Danielson’s respect on that night, and just signed for June 20th is the rematch. It’ll be Dutt and Danielson, one-on-one on HDNet! Can Dutt wow the Philadelphia and HDNet audiences like he did in Boston? Will Danielson still be impressed after the 20th? Come and find out!

June 11th: The Ring of Honor Wrestling Academy will be starting new classes during the week of June 22nd. The school is for people with previous wrestling experience or no wrestling experience at all. For more information please visit

June 11th: The Buy 3, Get 1 Free ROH DVD Sale will return at the live events this weekend in Manassas and New York City. June 9th: Roderick Strong and Jay Briscoe have had an incredible series of matches against each other in the last few months, with the most recent bout taking place at the last ROH on HDNet National TV Tapings. Now they’re set to do it again, but this time, with an added ingredient. D’Lo Brown faced Jay Briscoe in Philly as well, and ducked out when times got tough. Now all three men will do battle. It’s a 3 Way Dance and the first of the three TV main events to be filmed on June 19th as ROH and HDNet roll back into the Arena on South Philadelphia!

June 9th: Also signed for June 19th in South Philly is a singles grudge match with bad blood all over it. Davey Richards took out the knee of El Generico backing February at “Proving Ground ’09”. That injury resurfaced, and Generico missed action as a result. Now, for the first time since the injury, El Generico has the chance to right Davey’s wrongs in a one-on-one contest! Can Generico exact his own personal revenge in Philly on 6/19?

June 9th: The third of our three television main events to be filmed on June 19th is an ROH Main Event anywhere in the country. These two men have battled one another on several occasions, many times over the ROH World Title. For the first time since “Injustice II”, it will be Tyler Black taking on Nigel McGuinness in singles competition! Tyler is coming off perhaps his biggest win to date – a thrilling victory over Bryan Danielson at the last tapings, and Nigel is back on the active roster coming off potentially career-threatening arm injuries. Can Nigel show he’s still got what it takes, or will Tyler cement his place at the top of the heap in ROH? Tickets for June 19th and 20th in South Philly are available at!

June 9th: Yesterday, Mike “Hog” Hogewood and Dave Prazak began the voiceovers for weeks 13-18 of Ring of Honor Wrestling on HDNet at the HDNet studios in Denver. Rumor has it that Prazak didn’t take kindly to the Hog’s assertion that Prazak and Bobby Dempsey share the same hair stylist, and as such, Prazak’s “do” got done.

June 9th: Signed for Detroit on June 26th is the return of the Six Man Mayhem Match! This is a match that could take on very interesting possibilities. Austin Aries has been on fire as of late in ROH, taking every opportunity that comes his way and turning it into a positive for “A Double”. Joey Ryan is new to ROH, but smartly aligned himself with the powerful Embassy and is reveling in his role as Prince Nana’s “hired Magnum”. Now add in Petey Williams, fresh off a very impressive tour of All-Japan Pro Wrestling. Finally, add into the mix the volatile Sami Callihan, the powerful “Skullkrusher” Rasche Brown, and to top it off, Delirious! ROH officials have already mandated that should Aries leave NYC this weekend as ROH World Champion, this match will be a non-title affair.

June 9th: The Four Corner Survival scheduled for Chicago Ridge on June 27th has been altered and now the Six Man Mayhem Match returns to the Windy City! Already signed for this match are Rhett Titus, Egotistico Fantastico, Sami Callihan, and Delirious. Just added to the contest are two men that didn’t see eye-to-eye last time out in Chi Town, as both Silas Young and “Sugarfoot” Alex Payne have been added!
