Willis McGahee ran 3 yards into the end zone standing up. The Ravens' subsequent two-point coversion attempt was unsuccessful, giving Baltimore a 19-point lead with 10:32 remaining. A 44-yard field goal attempt by Stephen Gostkowski on the Patriots' next drive sailed wide right, ending any chance of keeping New England in the game.

Ray Rice got things going with an 83-yard touchdown run up the middle on the game's first play from scrimmage. He went on to finish with 159 yards and two touchdowns on 22 caries.
