Four KC prospects invited to Spring Training

KANSAS CITY -- Mike Moustakas, the Royals' first-round Draft selection in 2007, will get the once-over at Major League Spring Training this year.Moustakas is among four Minor League players added Monday to the camp roster. The others are pitcher Danny Duffy and outfielders David Lough and Derrick Robinson.
Now a third baseman after being drafted as a shortstop, the 21-year-old Moustakas was Class A Wilmington's Player of the Year in 2009. The left-handed batter hit .250 with 16 home runs and 86 RBIs in 129 games.
Duffy, 21, a lefty, was 9-3 with a 2.98 ERA for the Wilmington Blue Rocks. In 24 starts, he struck out 125 and walked just 41 in 126 2/3 innings.
Lough, 23, won the George Brett Hitter of the Year Award as he led all Royals Minor Leaguers with a .325 average for Double-A Northwest Arkansas and Wilmington. He's a left-handed batter and had 14 homers.
Robinson, 22, was also in the Major League camp last spring. A switch-hitting speedster, he swiped 69 bases in 92 tries to lead the Carolina League while batting .239 last season for Wilmington.
The Royals have now invited 24 players to camp at Surprise, Ariz., in addition to the regular 40-man roster.
