Another Cole having a laugh when it comes to contracts. Pledging his future to the club means nothing. If Cole had contributed 50 per cent of what Anelka and Essien each have, it still wouldn't be enough. Presumably he won't be kissing his shirt next time he scores (whenever that may be).

BTW, how much has Scharner taken off his potential transfer fee after that howler against Wolves? Should die his hair red to go with his face.
