The lovely Kerry Washington is on the show tonight! She's an actress! She's played some memorable wives in film: Della Bea Robinson, Ray Charles' wife in Ray and Kay, Idi Amin's wife, in The Last King of Scotland. She's also played the bachelorette: Nikki in I Think I Love My Wife, and Alicia Masters in the Fantastic Four films. Before she was Kerry from Hollywood, she was Kerry from the Bronx - performing and studying theatre from a very young age. She's currently co-starring in David Mamet's new play on Broadway, Race. Tonight, one of the things Kerry will talk about is V-Day, a global charity committed to ending violence against women and girls. They have a safe house in Haiti - and she'll talk about the effect of the earthquake there. On last night's show Jeremy Renner of The Hurt Locker stopped by to talk about the film, a film in which he defuses bombs in Iraq. Naturally we made the connection to have him play a game of Perfection with Jimmy to try to match the intensity of diffusing a bomb. To see this game being played brought back a lot of memories to games I used to play as a kid. What was your favorite game to play growing up?

I really love my naps at work (and if any supervisors are reading this, "naps" = "extra ad revenue generation projects"). But throwing a hoodie all the way over your head so it's pitch-ish black doesn't always do the trick. However, this does. Introducing the Sleep Suit:

That's right, it's a wearable cocoon of pillowy softness that provides for naps at the drop of a sleep hat (there's no such thing as a 'sleep hats'). There are also little open pockets if anyone needs to slip an office memo in there for you to wake up to. If anyone wants to send one of these to the Late Night offices for an upcoming We Get Stuff, I'm all for it. I will do that for you - wear it and sleep in it. A lot. Work time just became nap time. All the time.
