Assassin's Creed 2, why repetitive gameplay can be fun

Assassin's creed 2 is everything the first was and everything it was not. The story continued right from the first and really explained some stuff you didn't understand from the first. The gameplay is just like the first, only now you have more options for things. You eventually gain a second wrist blade and you even have the option to disarm guards that attack you now. The controls are smooth and everything fits together well when you are free running through the city. However, the AI is really not there. Guards will sometimes jump off of a roof while chasing you and not be able to figure out where you are. Another thing is that after you finish the main story (a good 10 hours of play for me), the little extra things like feathers to collect really get old and I lost interest in the game at that point. Overall the game was better than the first, but I really hope the third is a masterpiece.

2nd Place Game of the Year?

This game is by far one of the best games I have played through 2009. The game may be a bit short but after you beat it there is tons of stuff to do, such as assassination contracts, free-running races, beat-up events, and courier assignments. The visuals were great and what i found awesome was that when you get out of the water, it shows that you are wet and when you get out of a haystack, it shows stray pieces of hay coming out of your clothing.I can tell Ubisoft worked hard on this game. It is a much bigger step up from the first Assassins Creed. The first game was repetitive and had annoying beggars. This time you don't get caught by guards easily and you have a notoriety which is a thumbs up to GTA and other open world games. A few flaws are the annoying music men that come at you and block your way and also the lousy camera when countering. These flaws don't exactly affect the gameplay and are easy to overcome. Overall, I give this a 5 out of 5 for the innovative gameplay and additional content. In my opinion this game is probably able to top Modern Warfare 2 and is probably the best open world game of 2009.

This is one of the best games i ever played. The whole game is solid, solid grapics, really fun, the audio is good. good and easy combat.

Fantastic Sequel

Assassins Creed 2 takes everything great from AC 1 and adds to it. I loved AC 1 but the two just don't compare. AC 2 has a much more engaging story and far better gameplay. The graphics are breathtaking and the content features a wide array of other things to do. Must buy!!!! (And the ending will blow your fucking mind)
