The head of the U.N. mission in Afghanistan acknowledged Sunday that there was "widespread fraud" in the August presidential election but refused to give specifics or lay blame to avoid influencing the ongoing recount.

I would much rather read that the NYPD caught the 372 criminal goons who committed the 372 crimes in New York last year ("NYPD stings gunrunning ring," Oct. 8). To blame 372 guns from Virginia or I-95 or any other highway used is as naive and shortsighted as it could be. Wake up and stop barking up the wrong tree!
