Saturday's Busted LIVE: Countdown to Lockdown featured all sorts of good ole fashioned fun (body searches! two-way mirrors! take downs!), but our favorite part of the event was catching up with the show's alumni to see how their lives have been going since the po-po came a knockin'. Most of them are staying outta trouble... but not all.

Offender: Richard
Story: Rich Taser
Lesson Learned? No matter how good you are, everyone gets Busted!
What Was It Like Watching? Definitely embarrassing! It's like watching your own walk of shame.
Been Busted Since? No trouble since -- I hate jail!

Offender: Lindsey
Story: Munchie Run
Lesson Learned? Apparently you can't run down the street at midnight without looking suspicious!
What Was It Like Watching? Awkward! But I wasn't embarrassed because my philosophy is that you only live once so you might as well do everything you can!
Been Busted Since? Nope!

Offender: Josh
Story: Skinny Dipping
Lesson Learned? Try not to get Busted.
What Was It Like Watching? Not good. Embarrassing.
Been Busted Since? Yes, a DUI.

Things'll be getting kinda criminal around here come Saturday at 2pm when MTV hosts a special live event celebrating those who've been Busted (mostly for being idiots) and the officers who bravely took them down. Busted LIVE: Countdown to Lockdown will not only include an all-day marathon of episodes, but a live studio audience here in Times Square will partake in some of their own shady shenanigans. Think you could conduct an effective body search? Survive an interrogation? Resist stealing a fiver if it was JUST SO EASY?

Everyone from Busted alumni to New York's finest will be in the house to share in all the family fun, and in honor of the big day, we've gone ahead and listed our favorite busts of MTV history. Take a sweet stroll down memory lane...

1) Real World: Denver
Tyrie gets caught peeing in public... just outside the RW house!

2) Beavis and Butt-Head
B&B get accused of stealing money from the register at work and are forced to take a lie detector test:

3) The Hills, Season 4
Brody and Doug go down fighting in Vegas, baby. LC and the girls try to find them by frantically combing through the phone book and calling every jail in the neighborhood. LOL!

Two more criminal moments after the jump!

Calling all Busted fans! In light of this weekend's live event (new episodes, in-studio stunts PLUS the chance to catch up with your fave Busted alumni!) we figured we'd pick your law-abiding brains about two MAJOR issues affecting young people today.

So take these polls and let us know how you feel about the push to legalize marijuana and lower the legal drinking age. Oh, and be honest. After all, you can't get busted for your personal preferences.

+ Want more Busted? Tune in this Saturday at 2pm for the official poll results, PLUS 10 all-new, crimetastic episodes!

We were pretty psyched when we found out we'd get to kick off our weekend by hanging with Tony Yayo. The G-Unit rapper (who has both 50 Cent and Eminem on speed dial, plus a hot debut album called Thoughts of a Predicate Felon) hit up MTV studios this week to get ready for his hosting gig on tonight's live Busted event, and we caught up with him yesterday to find out more about his life, his music and, of course, his brushes with the law.

Turns out, Tony (Did we mention we're on a first name basis?) is actually super chill, despite his intimidating photo glare and well-documented criminal record. And since he pretty much agreed to answer any question we could throw at him, we walked away from the interview with a one-sided crush and way more material than we knew what to do with.

Watch these clips to find out what the up-and-coming rapper's up to now (besides trying to stay out of the slammer), plus read on for a list of Top 5 Things You Never Knew About Tony.

Q: Tell us about your latest projects. Tony opens up about what he's working on these days (including the Busted gig and his new album). And trust us, you're gonna want to hear what he's got going on besides his upcoming collaboration with 50.

Q: What lessons have you learned from being 'Busted?' Since the theme of the night is "Busted," we asked Tony to tell us what being behind bars has taught him. Turns out, it's all about the legal bills, baby. His advice? Make sure you have "lawyer money."

Stay tuned for a Tony listicle, after the jump.

We've been big fans of Busted ever since it kicked off roughly six weeks ago. (Something about watching teenagers try to outrun the cops, talk their way out of a DUI or slur incoherent excuses for their drunk and disorderly charges is SO FRICKIN' SATISFYING. In a "Holy crap, I'm glad it's not me" sorta way.)

Which is why we're doubly psyched for tomorrow night's marathon and live event extravaganza, hosted by G-Unit's Tony Yayo -- and MTV News' Kim Stoltz -- which features series highlights, the all-time top celebrity "You're Busted" moments (Note: we still stand by our picks) plus amazing real-time footage of policemen (and women!) cruising the streets for juvenile delinquents.

So cancel your plans tomorrow, and get ready for an evening of schadenfreude and good old-fashioned law enforcement (the bustin' free-for-all starts at 7pm sharp!) then check back later to catch our revealing sit-down with your friendly and felonious host, Tony Yayo.

For the most part, the crimes we see committed on Busted are all pretty petty, and being caught on camera at your very worst (eg. drunk/stumbling, dressed like a stripper and jonesing for Pizza Hut) can be punishment enough for a person. So, in honor of those of us who've been completely humiliated in front of a wide-eyed audience of people, we're taking a moment to sort through the most "character-building" public embarrassments of all time. Drumroll, please....

Jim McGreevey Leaves Closet Involuntarily
In 2004, New Jersey's Governor resigned after 1) publicly declaring his affection for the opposite sex, and 2) Admitting to having an extra-marital affair with the Israeli man he had appointed homeland security adviser. Becoming the first and, to date, only openly gay state governor is certainly no embarrassment, though McGreevey's taste in himstress left much to be desired. I mean, did you see that guy's shoes?

A Day in the Life of Amy Winehouse
It's hard to choose which moment has been her most embarrassing, as the British singer never quite seems regretful when the pics of her bombed and only wearing a sequenced bra surface the next morning. A day in Amy's life meets all the requirements of public humiliation: paparazzi snapping pics of her diseased skin, on-stage fighting with fans, field trips to her husband's prison ward... yeah, it's about time she became mortified by herself.

Pat O'Brien Stalks a Stranger for Sex, Drugs, and More Sex
Need a reminder to never drink and dial? The Insider's Pat O'Brien learned his lesson a few years ago when a string of scandalous voicemails made the Internet rounds. It seems that Pat had been partying a bit too hard one evening, and between the hours of 7pm and 9pm he left a total of six messages for a woman he'd just met containing some hardly subtle sexual advances, as well as a total of 30 F-bombs. Refresh your memory at Newgrounds.com, or really, don't -- it's icky. Following the incident, O'Brien went directly to rehab and has been sober ever since. Yay for him -- and unsuspecting women everywhere!

Tonight marks the official premiere of Busted, an MTV cop show where the punishment -- typically utter humiliation -- always fits the crime. These are not the stories of hardened criminals, rather victims of wrong time/wrong place/wrong blood alcohol levels. Below, the Busted producers who worked on tonight's three stories, Matt and Vic, blog about their experience shooting the incidents...

Story: "Gold Cadillac"
Producer: Vic

My ride along with Officer Matt Crenshaw of the Oxnard Police Dept was really great. The night started out with a call reporting a reckless driver in a gold Cadillac. Within minutes, Officer Crenshaw spotted the vehicle. Next thing I knew, we were on a high speed pursuit! I couldn't believe it. I don’t think I've ever gone that fast in a car. It was pretty insane, but at the same time I felt safe. Officer Crenshaw maneuvered in and out of traffic like a pro in order to catch up. Not only did we catch up, but we caught the suspect. Watching the whole thing go down was awesome.

After that ride, I have a whole new respect for what these officers do everyday. For me, it was a scary and exciting experience. But for Crenshaw, it was just another day on the job. It's what they do.

Monday, August 25, marks the official premiere of Busted, an MTV cop show that puts the spotlight on those people extremely vulnerable to alcohol poisoning while playing a game of "I Never." These are not the stories of hardened criminals, rather wrong time/wrong place victims with typically slurred speech and/or bad grammar. Tonight you tuned in after The Hills premiere for a special "Sneak Peek," which included the story of Richard, who maniacally jumped from a moving vehicle, and some really drunk girls who may or may not have been soliciting for sex. Yowsers! Below, the Busted producer on both of these stories, Kara, blogs below about her experience shooting the incidents...

On Richard... When we pulled Richard over there was a massive panic. No one expected him to jump out of the vehicle while it was still running! My heart was pounding and the cameraman took off sprinting on foot. Unfortunately, he forgot to unlock my door. Most patrol cars have the locks disabled in the back seat so a perpetrator cannot escape, so I literally had to climb over the front seat to get out of the vehicle. I tripped on my climb over and came crashing to the asphalt. I must have looked completely disheveled the cops actually thought for a moment I may have been Richard's passenger in his vehicle!

Long day? Well, we've got just the thing to snap you out of your late-afternoon food coma. It's the trailer for MTV's new series, Busted, which is sorta like Cops meets Super Troopers meets The Dumbest Kids From Your High School. Yeah, turns out, after you've thrown back a few, you're not exactly in the best position to talk your way out of a DUI. (Who knew??) Anyhow, check it out and watch as these less-than law abiding teens get what's coming to them, then don't forget to tune in for the series premiere on August 25th.

Oh, and word to the wise: These days, cops have what we like to call "street smarts." In other words, they TOTALLY know the difference between 'drunk-eye' and 'pink eye.' (Also? Combating a charge of underage drinking by saying "I'm walking...on the feet!" and/or "I'm hungry. I'm walking to the f------- hungry store!" never works. So next time, don't even bother trying).
