Best PSP Game Of 2009 Finalists

Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days

Publisher: NIS America

GameZone's Review

Natalie Romano: Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days for the PSP is a sequel worthy of being considered superior to the fantastic original and that’s saying a lot right there. The game also manages to be just as addictive and enjoyable as the console games in the series with new features that just add more SRPG goodness to a series that just keeps getting stranger and more fun with each new installment. Definitely give this one a try if you want another inventive SRPG.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars

Publisher: RockStar Games

GameZone's Review

Nick Valentino: One of the best Grand Theft Auto games to grace the PSP so far, Chinatown Wars makes our return to Liberty City an utterly brilliant and addictive gem. With amazing missions, a great story and plenty to do in the city, this game is just non-stop fun from start to finish. Forget the DS; this game truly shines on the PSP.

LittleBigPlanet

Publisher: SCEA

Steven Hopper: Packing all of the punch and great gameplay features of its beloved predecessor, LittleBigPlanet makes an excellent transition to the PSP. This charming portable title is not one to be missed by any PSP owner.

Resistance: Retribution

Publisher: SCEA

GameZone's Review

Steven Hopper: While action games usually come with some degree of frustration when appearing on the PSP, Resistance: Retribution is a true exception, offering robust controls, and solid single-player campaign and great multiplayer. PSP owners don’t want to miss out on this one.

Rock Band Unplugged

Publisher: EA Games

GameZone's Review

Steven Hopper: Rock Band Unplugged is a great addition to the Rock Band series, offering a refreshing rhythm game mechanic that feels very comfortable on the PSP. Even though the game lacks multiplayer, the DLC feature should help give this game some legs in the future.
